THE SKY IN OUR HOME

The Sky in our home

“I am not at home not to die. I am at home to live, live to reach the true life.”

When an italian young woman said these words to Julián Carrón, three friends, Débora Ramos, Marcela Bertelli and Julian de la Morena, were inspired to write a few articles on the value and meaning of our home's different spaces and objects.

We were inspired by the English writer Gilbert Keith Chesterton and by the exhibition “Il Cielo in una stanza”, organized by the Rimini Meeting (34th edition) in Italy. Through a few passaes, we aim at offering our audience some reflections that help us and them to spot the captivating mystery hidden in our homes, especially during this pandemic.

Together with the written texts, Martina (5 years old) and Cecília (14 years old) were invited to fill our home with images of what they experience in their own homes, located in São Paulo (SP) and Belo Horizonte (MG), Brazil.

Each corner of our house could, therefore, be recognized as a space to encounter the pleasant surprises that true life offers us.
